Unlocking mouse cursor from headtracking

Have recently starting playing in vr but have one annoyance... when moving my head the cursor moves with it. It makes it more difficult than it should be to hit the tiny buttons in the cockpit. I am pretty sure it should be possible but can't for the life of me figure it out.

Am i mistaken or just blind?

If I'm just blind please tell me exactly where to find it and what it's called.

when you get used to it, it works really well. Using head for the big movements and joystick / thumbstick for the small
