Hello,

I’m suffering from the inability to open the gun guard. Cleared already the assigned keyboard combi, but no luck.
Can somebody cfm which guard I need to open?

would be great to overcome this issue☺️

I have "Weapon Trigger Guard - OPEN/CLOSE" bound on my HOTAS with no issues.

EDIT: If you're in the CPG seat I would check that you have it bound in there too in the cyclic controls section. If you're using the TEDAC LHG trigger to shoot then there's no guard on it, but if you've bound the trigger on the CPGs cyclic then you'll need his trigger guard bound too.

Ok, tried this, but I could not see the guard moving.

cleared the assigned keyboard command, as well as the joystick sw - reassigned but no change.

would be….inappropriate to fly the Apache without a working gun😞

The guard doesn't animate (yet) so you just have to try to remember.

Also make sure you WAS the gun with the same control as you are pulling the trigger.  In other words, if you WAS the gun from the TEDAC grip, you can only fire with the trigger on the TEDAC.

That's what I thought too, but I did a test flight earlier in SP and it seemed to work regardless. About to test again.

Just checked all my bindings to make sure I wasn't confusing things and hopped into the CPG seat.

WAS gun from TEDAC: TEDAC trigger fires. Cyclic trigger fires (once unguarded!) Un-WAS gun.

WAS gun from cyclic: Cyclic trigger fires, TEDAC trigger fires.

Seems like it's not working as intended. Either that or I'm missing something.

There is a setting that might help you out. At the start screen go the options menu and go to the special category. There should be a list of your installed modules on the left so select the AH-64. Now in that option screen there is one that will allow you to click through all guards and make them totally unneeded. No need to bind a key just hit the trigger and you are firing. Not "Realistic" but it does simplify things.
