Trees only obscure player & ‘George’ AI, but not enemy AI

Since the Apache has been released it has become blatantly obvious that the trees do not provide cover or obscure enemies from seeing the player aircraft as they are able to see track and shoot us through very dense forests and woods.

However the George AI and human players are unable to see or track or shoot through the same forests. This obviously skews the difficulty and makes it completely unrealistic and unplayable on a module like the Apache.

my needs to behave in the same way as the charge AI and as the players so if the player aircraft are obscured behind the trees and bushes and other foliage then the enemy AI must not be able to see or track or shoot through those.

I had a funny situation yesterday, when a SAM site shot all his missiles on me while I was hovering behind a single tree and he never hit me (I popped out and destroyed the loser with rockets). 

But the very fact that he could see me and lock onto me with his radar while I was behind the tree is strange.
