Falcon911 Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 VC kneeboard is transparent (see photo below) Other kneeboard default items (ATC charts, ETC) showing fine. It was working fine before, I had to reinstalled DCS Open beta. (Drive died) Reinstalled VA and VAICOM Voice attack is a Steam purchase Licenses are installed Tried the Master Zero all other options other than Licenses Sliders is all the way up on the EX section of the options on VA No mods, no reshade Deleted the VAICOM folder in DCS/Saved games Looking at the logs it states in VA, Building kneeboard tables, Success Did a repair for DCS Restarted VA and then started DCS. Still no joy.. Fresh out ideas....
Olmba Posted April 14, 2022 Posted April 14, 2022 (edited) Try next or previous page with the arrow keys at the bottom of the kneeboard page. This usually happens when auto browse in vaicom EX preference is disable, enable if you want to avoid blank opening kneeboard page. Edited April 14, 2022 by Olmba
Falcon911 Posted April 14, 2022 Author Posted April 14, 2022 When through all the slides on the kneeboard and have the Auto browse checked off in the EX option . Kneeboard brightness is all the way up. Same issue.

Went to the DCS Game Folder G:\DCS World OpenBeta\Scripts\Aircrafts\_Common\Cockpit\VAICOMPRO and renamed the folder Started VA, VC and DCS in that order Vaicom rebuilt the folder and all aspects of the files. Still same issue. Determined to think there is a setting on the DCS options that is preventing the VAICOM Kneeboard to be properly viewed. Just cannot figure out what option is related to this type of viewing.
Falcon911 Posted April 14, 2022 Author Posted April 14, 2022 OK.. For laughs I installed DCS world(Not BETA) on separate drive/install. I made no changes to DCS and it was installed Vanilla. In the VAICOM Config tab. I checked the Use Custom DCS path: to the G:\DCS World and checked the Fix Reg box. I then started DCS and went into a Cold and Dark F-16 and same issue, the transparent kneeboard. All other default pages are functioning.
