Bright externior lights

Quick q: are the external lights actually this bright IRL? the tail light is blinding in sim

dresoccer4 very true. But these should be the lights of when you're doing the startup. On the runway you're supposed to use the lights on steady and remove the anti-collision. In flight use the formation lights and the effect should be less conspicuous, since they are adjustable to various positions. However, they seem a bit too flashy to me.
