Lasing first detent allways gives "BAL limit"

..so I fire the laser with second detent, and the gun hits.
It does not seem that one single laserburst records the distance properly.
Or have I misunderstood something/doing it wrong?

If they haven't fixed it, you are most likely encountering this bug.
