Easy and fast custom plane mod question

Hello!

I am trying to create a mod by modifying an existing mod, for example using the Su-57 mod as a base and only replacing the external 3D model with any other aircraft, for example I am trying with a model of the F\A-37 Talon .

I only found a video tutorial whose author is Jinxx 

Using the example of the B2 I have easily gotten it to work but with other models it is difficult for me.

I'm using Blender and I'm still pretty new to the program. What want is the fastest and easiest way to replace the external model of an existing mod.

If someone can guide me, any help would be welcome!
