Tools and programs for skin creation ?

Here is a little question for the professionals among us

Which tools and programs do I need to use In order To create new Black shark Skins?

Sorry but I can’t find a clear answer to this basic question …

PSD format so photoshop or something else that does PSD's.

 

As for how to extract or compile them (If it needs it or not) I don't know.

Hello, REL.

The skin template of DCS have some files of Photoshop psd format.

If you don't have this expensive software, you can get for free GIMP, a GPL license software very profesional, with a lot of plugins, and start to work.

I didn’t find out yet if there is away to edit the *.cdds files directly with Photoshop but I will keep reading.

AFAIK there is not.

 

CDDS => C is for Compressed (or Collection), it's a sort of Zip file format for images.

 

You need to 'open the box' before editing its content.

I found out that you can open and extract the compressed *.cdds files with the CDDSviewD software that comes with CDDS-Studio (http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=18234 )
