Damage Textures

Was playing MP today and I sustained some damage. My buddy could see it, and told me so over voice chat, but I couldn't see it on my own heli. I could see damage on his, but not my own. He could see both.

 

Anyone else experienced this? Whats the fix?

Was your aircraft suffering any symptoms of combat damage? If not, it could be a latency issue.

 

Haven't done a MP game in BS yet but I have seen similar happen in other games. Basically comes down to his client seeing a hit on your aircraft model,and applying a damage texture, yet the server or your client not seeing it and thus not applying the effect.

But I was hosting! I have bad ping to my own machine LOL Wouldn't surprise me, I hate DSL.

 

Thanks for the insight, I think thats gonna be the culprit.
