simapajik Posted July 8, 2022 Posted July 8, 2022 Hi Please, give me an advice. I have a new MSI Oculus NXG253R 24" Full HD G-SYNC monitor. The monitor has a maximum refresh rate of 360hz. I set the refresh rate to 240hz in the Nvidia graphics settings. When I run the toolbar on my monitor it shows 240hz. If I start the simulator I still stay at 240hz. If I want to use the full screen mode at the beginning of the game with the LAlt + ENTER key, the refresh rate changes to the maximum 360hz. Why is it like this? I set the refresh rate to 240hz because this setting offers an output color depth of up to 12bit. The 360hz setting only offers 8bit. Thanks you <White Tiger> [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
BitMaster Posted July 12, 2022 Posted July 12, 2022 Yes indeed, if the Overlay ( and thus also Windows CP settings ) say 240Hz it should stay there. Have you installed the .inf file for your monitor or is it listed as a Plug&Play Monitor in Device Manager ? That could possibly explain such things. You are on DP cable ? I assume yes.
