Airway Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 There is Intercom, VHF1 and VHF2 in the helicopter, AM am FM frequencies.......................... Please go and run the ATC and Ground Crew Communications Training lesson in the Training Task 1, "Familiarization FAM course" There you get to know at least an amount about the radio in Black Shark and how to use it.
Chillspider Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 You have to use right and left mouse button to turn it. Its called the R828 VH1 channel selector in the control section in options they are mapped to Next channel RCTRL+RALT+M Previous channel RCTRL+RALT+N Dell XPS 630i w/ Dell nForce 650i Sli ,Intel Q9650 @3.0 ,6.0 GB Ram @800Mhz, 2xGeforce 9800 GT 512 MB ,Saitek X52, Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals ,Dell 24" 1080P HD monitor, Klipsch THX Pro Media 2.1 ,TrackIR 4, Logitech MX518 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
EvilBivol-1 Posted December 30, 2008 Posted December 30, 2008 There are two VHF radios on the Ka-50: R-828 (VHF-1) and R-800L1 (VHF-2). You are using the wrong radio. ATC/Wingman/datalink comms are all performed through the R-800L1 (VHF-2) radio, which is configured on the left panel, next to your left knee. The radio you're asking about is the R-828 (VHF-1). This radio is for communication with ground forces (FAC). Although the radio itself is functional in the simulation, the ground AI doesn't actually have any way to communicate with you. So, for now, the R-828 does not really have a purpose in the simulation. The right panel also includes the ARK-22 ADF, which is used for radio navigation. The ADF can be slaved to your R-800L1 (VHF-2) radio. You can then set the ADF frequency through your R-800L1 radio controls. - EB [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Nothing is easy. Everything takes much longer.
