Any way to add 'universal' script?

Is there any way in SP to inject a script into any mission i.e. without having to add it to the mission in ME with triggers etc. ?

I tried the Scripts/Hooks folder, but I think this is for MP only? Also tried dofile() inserted into a mission script and other scripts.

Reason - I want to add my own script to payware campaign missions.
