Thanks, I reinstalled SSA and SSM and that seemed to fix it. I do have VPN (usually off when flying) and can confirm that turning it on does also stop SSA working! -

Hi, SSA/sound module stopped working (no effects produced) after the latest OB update 18th May. The SSA aircraft type does not change to the one flying in DCS and Sound Module logging shows no data. SSA updater says new beta version available 2.6.5 but there is no download for it on GitHub, it says 'pre-release' I was running previous beta of 2.65 EDIT 2.64 SSA and latest beta of sound module, which worked. Thanks -

I have this as well when looking at ground objects from lower altitudes or zoomed in on them. Runs smooth on standard .exe, stutters on MT .exe (MT has higher FPS) RTX3080ti latest drivers Ryzen 5900x 32gb RAM OS and DCS World both on SSDs Gsync Monitor Happening on all maps and aircraft I have tried.

My mistake - shows this behaviour when 'bombing' selected, need to select 'carpet bombing' then it works fine. -
Latest OB - Formation of JU88 (12 aircraft in total) with groups 2 & 3 set to follow leader Group. All groups except leader turns back before target when attacked by flak or fighters. They circle and then follow the leader, who has passed the bombing target by then. All units also set to No Reaction to Threat. Leader set to immortal. Plenty of run-in to target. Thanks

I for one appreciate the continued development, regardless of the pace. When I compare what we have today vs. what was available in combat flight sims when I started simming 30+ years ago, it makes every flight an absolute joy. For me, DCS is getting close to achieving what my vision of a combat flight sim was all those years ago. Regards, M

You can get a wireless version of trackclip pro or convert the wired one yourself, if you know how to solder. How about aluminium tape?

Hi, I feared that was the situation, which is a real pity. Thanks for taking the time to reply. Regards, M **EDIT** I did find a workround for partial functionality by removing the two-way communication process. By removing the line: ExportScript.Tools.createUDPListner() in ExportScript.lua By doing this, there is still status info from DCS>>Streamdeck but obviously I cannot send keypresses Streamdeck>>DCS. However, I have working switch status lights etc on the Streamdeck and no stutters. Also suggests where the issue lies, so I will investigate more.

Is there any way in SP to inject a script into any mission i.e. without having to add it to the mission in ME with triggers etc. ? I tried the Scripts/Hooks folder, but I think this is for MP only? Also tried dofile() inserted into a mission script and other scripts. Reason - I want to add my own script to payware campaign missions. Thanks

Hi, I would like to change an airfield texture on Caucasus - it's in AirfieldsTextures.zip. Can someone point me in the right direction - I have: Decompressed AirfieldsTextures.zip and edited existing texture airfield_asphalt_05.bmp.dds, then I tried... - Leave decompressed folder in the path - Re-compress AirfieldsTextures.zip using - 7-zip, Winzip, Winrar (note I can't get the compressed file to be the same as original - does this indicate the issue?) The revised texture doesn't show up. I have tried the above in the following paths: C:\Users\*MYUSERNAME*\Saved Games\DCS\Mods\terrains\Caucasus\vfstextures\ D:\DCS World\Mods\terrains\Caucasus\vfstextures\ ...(i.e. my main install) What am I missing? Special compression format? Special image format? I am opening with Gimp, editing and saving to same file. Thanks! M
