zika1234 Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 I dont know if anybody has seen this, but after some time in flight - rotorb blades appear as bended - you can see in pictures below that they are missaligned...Anybod noticed this?
Shrubbo Posted January 1, 2009 Posted January 1, 2009 (edited) That's normal. Remember they are rotating blades so while one side is heading into the wind it is generating more lift and thus "bending up" while the other side is heading the other way, making less left and "bending down". Now put one set of rotors above another set, spin them in opposite directions and you get what you see in your pictures. That leads to the problem of if you go to fast, do certain maneuvers and/or too much collective the blades will contact, rip off and cause many tears :) Edited January 1, 2009 by Shrubbo i9-9900K,Z390 Aorus Master, 32GB GSkill Trident F4-3600 DDR4, ROG Strix RTX 2080 Ti, Oculus Rift S.
