Hi,

I've been sneaking around the forums for awhile but not really posted anything yet. I have been tracking DCS for a long long time (just like you did!)

I patiently waited for the english download version and watched Matt's producers movies alot of times. A week ago i got the download version.

Praying it would run smooth enough on my system i loaded it up. It was running 'ok' but not what i really wanted to see. So, i lowered the settings. Running just fine enough on my A8N SLI deluxe, amd dual core 3800+ with 2 gigs of ram (running 1680x1050). But i wanted more, because i just like this sim so much. Figured i might need some ram so i walked towards my hardware dealer around the corner. Instead of spending 70$ on ram i walked out with 450$ less in my pocket. But now i was a the proud owner of a Asus Corsair II Formula motherboard, a AM Phenom X4 9550 processor and new kingston hyperx 4096MB ddr2 800 (2x 2048) RAM.

This setup absolutly makes Blackshark 150% better then it already was. Everyone at ED: Thanks for making this absolutly beautiful simulator !

This does however make it the most expensive sim for me.

If you are wondering if you should upgrade your system i have one advice: Do it! Let the shopkeeper inform you to get the best performance!

cya, back to flying! :)

I know your pain. Full CH controller setup, triple monitors and a new vid card later this is the most expensive game I have ever played. You bastards !! :D
