Mrfixer Posted August 22, 2022 Share Posted August 22, 2022 (edited) I did all the things correctly like DLC, ACL, auto throttle, etc. But whenever I got ACL ready and the A/P CPLR light on, then I press the Nosewheel Steering button, but instead of active ACL system,ACL ready and the A/P CPLR light will switch off and disengage my autopilot. Zergburger Posted August 23, 2022 Share Posted August 23, 2022 i attempted a few autolandings earlier this week, it appeared if my deviation from centered needles was too great, i would run into a situation similar to what you are describing, see if you can get perfectly held needles and a DME inside ~6.0 then give it another go.
