Moxica Posted September 15, 2022 Posted September 15, 2022 (edited) If I miss a waypoint, I'd better turn back and "check" it by flying through it, or it will remain an unfullfilled task. Well, that is my perception anyway. (So far.) Clicking "RTE" and select next wp, give me directions, but that lost waypoint remain. Am I missing something? Solution placsea Posted September 15, 2022 Solution Posted September 15, 2022 (edited) RTE on bottom > DIR on left > Click on waypoint you want next. This will direct you to the next waypoint or you can delete the waypoint from the route (this doesn't delete the waypoint). You can also rearrange and move waypoints around to whatever order you wish. Play with it a bit, it's intuitive once you mess around with it for a while. Don't sleep on using the cursor also it can be a lot quicker than messing around with the keyboard unit. Edited September 15, 2022 by placsea 1

That is precisely what you should do. If you press the bezel button to the next waypoint, it will then cycle navigation to the next waypoint, but it doesn't remove the previous waypoint from the route if that is what you are expecting. The criteria for automatically cycling to the next waypoint is lacking some of the condition-based logic. It just hasn't been a priority yet given other things that are being rectified/improved. 2 Afterburners are for wussies...hang around the battlefield and dodge tracers like a man. DCS Rotor-Head
Moxica Posted September 16, 2022 Author Posted September 16, 2022 Thx, guys! I catch myself almost anally chasing waypoints, and I forget to enjoy the scenery, or I consider non-mission-critical targets a distraction, or just a nuicance. "Don't you make me miss my waypoint, target!"
