Having a lot of trouble getting my LD-10's to hit their targets. Both in MP and SP, missiles are fully aligned and it's in all three modes. At first I thought it was just ARM's in DCS in general, but the AGM88's and Russian ARM's all have essentially perfect accuracy. Am I doing something wrong, or is this lack of accuracy intentional?

There is an amount of error to the LD10 as it gets slower which with it's smaller warhead can prevent substantial damage from being inflicted on the target. There is also an issue with the SA11 unit not taking damage from the LD10 at times.

Other than that, a track file will be very helpful.

In PAS/SP the LD10 is a rather short range missile compared to other ARMs in DCS. In ACT if you are high and fast enough it has reasonably good range.

It works the best in SP mode and only fire after the enemy fires their SAM at you. PAS is the worst mode, seems to prefer going to your waypoint instead of the radar emitter clearly in front of you. If you don't have a waypoint, expect it to try and hit sams near the base you took off from. Active seems to work ok, I'd suggest you have a TGP and use active, so maybe it'll hit what your TGP is aiming at? It'll auto-loft in that mode. I recommend getting as high as you can and launch as close as you can. Also, help it loft by pitching up as much as you can before releasing the missile.

I think that margin of error is my issue; it tends to either overshoot or go off to the left or right, which is infuriating against SHORAD since they're small and have decent protection, I'll toss a track in here in a bit.

I haven’t noticed any waypoint behavior in PAS. If there is no emitters it should fly in straight line in PAS mode, no matter your waypoint selection

You would think, but every time, I set my waypoint to where I want to be when I fire the missile, like my maximum launch range. I will then fly past that if there's no air threat and fire as close as I can, normally in passive. What should happen is it sees something is locking me and goes after it. Instead, half the time it'll do a 180 and go towards the waypoint. That sounds like active mode but it's not, I have it in passive. I have tried preplanned active, but it doesn't seem to work well, so I normally save active until I get something on TGP or a good radar lock.

Aside, it's an intelligent missile, you should be able to set it to active, fire it in air to air mode, it takes in the speed/distance/angle and uses that to calculate an intercept point, and you could even tune it to the emitter before firing, so it'll intercept that emitter - sure it would probably hit the nose of the airplane, not the engines, but could knock out enemy radar, windscreen, computers.

I would love to see a track of it doing this.

Thanks

see a track of it

I wish I could upload track files that would capture it, unfortunately the track files are too large.
