ambision Posted September 30, 2022 Share Posted September 30, 2022 (edited) I used to fly with P33tr's DCS UFC and DCS Nav apps, and loved them immensely. But on windows 11 stable and after the recent DCS updates, the apps don't work anymore: the COMM manu does work, but all data that goes from the PC to the tablet is dead. it used to work fine, I have all ports etc. open, firewall rules in & out, correct IP addresses in the config. But nothing works. anyone else suffering this or has a smart workaround? ambision Posted October 7, 2022 Author Share Posted October 7, 2022 issue solved: seems like in a new windows installation, the default network mode is "public", which makes communication to external devices impossible. so.. changing to "private", along with connecting both PC and tablets to the same WIRELESS network, solved the issue. PW helped me figure this out. on a wired Ethernet on the PC and wireless on the tablet, it doesn't work at all.
