Jascha Posted October 2, 2022 Posted October 2, 2022 (edited) First of all, let me say that the option to review the radio messages and dialogues that has been added to DCS some time ago was a great idea. To expand it, I'd like to suggest adding a possibility to save messages history to txt or html file. It could be useful for training missions (to some of us). Right now I'm taking screenshots to be able to refer to some information quickly later but this is obviously a bit time consuming. null Alternatively you could add option to copy the messages history to clipboard. Unless there are some other convenient ways to export this? Edited October 2, 2022 by Jascha 1

Unless there are some other convenient ways to export this? You can grab it straight from the .miz file I believe. Option 1: Open DCS - go into your <install directory> mods\aircraft\<aircraft>\missions\training directory (ie: G:\DCS World\Mods\aircraft\FA-18C\Missions\Training) and open up one of the .MIZ files in there using your mission editor within DCS. View your triggers and you'll see things such as MESSAGE TO ALL. That's the text you're looking for. Option 2: Take a copy of that .miz file, dump it on your desktop, rename the .miz extension to .zip and open it up and go to the l10n\default\dictionary file and you'll have all you want in there to copy and paste from. Hope this helps... Edited October 3, 2022 by Dangerzone

Option 2 - really nice, although the layout of the dictionary file also makes time consuming to extract the content I'm after. I guess I'll stick to screenshots for now.
