Will player driven vehicles be able to be loaded/transported by the C-130?

Was curious about this with the upcoming C-130J. Will it be possible for player driven CA vehicles to have the ability to be driven onto and transported by the C-130? Maybe not airdropped but at least moved from point to point on a map. The ones that would fit anyway, as the C-130 has a payload limit of 42,000 lbs (21 tons), and a height/width limit of 9 feet x 10 feet. Main battle tanks wouldn't fit by being both too large and way too heavy. However most APC's and smaller vehicles would easily fit.

This would certainly  bring a really cool capability to DCS and Combined Arms.

I've been working a great deal for airmobility of ground units.  The are mods for C-17 and C-5A available.  The aircraft fly at the worst resolution the game can offer but have the ability to load troop or vehicles.  If you want to be able to pick up a vehicle, the simplest solution is to use CTLD.  The trick is to assign your vehicles as troops so you don't have to turn them into crates.  I've had great success with an M1A2 tank assault loaded aboard a C-17A.  The trick with the C-17A mod is to land on a road, if FC3 mods are landed in the dirt, the plane explodes.

The biggest issue I've encountered with Tank assaults is oddly from other players.  Tanks are so deadly against a static ground force they amount to dropping a Nuclear bomb on an airstrip.  A single tank can devastate an airfield in 2 minutes.  Other players think this ruins the game and won't play against you any more.  So be careful what you ask for  because a Tank air assault only needs effective air escort to succeed.  So if you are going to allow such air assaults in your mission design, make sure the enemy forces have a great deal of enemy counter-air fighters or nobody will show up (Twice).

If I recall correctly - I thought that the creators mentioned a few months ago with a podcast or similar that vehicles would be able to be carried. The only restriction would be if they could physically fit inside the aircraft.

Interesting option regarding assigning vehicles as troops. This is something I haven't considered before. Will be interesting to see how well it works. Does it add weight automatically?
