VikVaughan Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 (edited) Maybe its just something I'm doing wrong, but what is with my wingmen? I've been in 3 missions over the past 2 days where I was in a completely stationary hover, and the little bastards just plowed into me when I gave them an order that involved them moving ahead of me. This was in the default formation, but some other formations seem to just make this more frequent. I haven't had time to try them all exhaustively though. Has anyone else experienced this or know what to do to avoid it? There's also this loud buzz/squeal on the radio in lieu of voices at times. Is this meant to be a representation of Jamming or interference/multiple people talking at the same time? The radio is pretty dead most of the time, so that would seem unusual. Any insights are appreciated! Thanks. :) Edited January 9, 2009 by VikVaughan ASUS G74, Core i7-2670QM, 12GB DDR3, Geforce GTX 560M 3GB, Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Wise men speak because they have something to say, fools because they have to say something. - Plato VV
Chillspider Posted January 9, 2009 Posted January 9, 2009 This does happen and i would say keep your wingman in the spread formation or line formation that will keep him on your right and lined up with you so if he goes forward he wont be anywhere near you. This happens to me a lot and it feels like a bug. I swear it's the sound engine putting my ear in an Su-24 exhaust that's flying over the target area.
