SickSidewinder9 Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 (edited) Main power on JFS start 2 Throttle to idle at 20% Often doesn't work. The engine just doesn't catch. Auto start doesn't work after that either. Even after rearm/refuel. Only answer has been to change slots or respawn and try again until it works. Track file: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1LXUVlgiaTVNxW6aWtQO0MyC0d-l9ehrc/view?usp=sharing I feel like it has been happening since I bought Hornet, PG, and SC, but probably coincidence. ricktoberfest Posted November 17, 2022 Posted November 17, 2022 Make sure to wait a couple seconds after rpm hit 20%. Maybe you’re moving the throttle to idle a second too soon. 2
Solution Aquorys Posted November 17, 2022 Solution Posted November 17, 2022 (edited) Check the caution lights, the safe way to start is to wait for the SEC light to go out before moving the throttle to idle. PS: Also, see the checklists linked in my signature, in case you are looking for something that you can put into the kneeboard as a quick reference. Also, if you fail once, I think you have to rearm/refuel to get everything charged up again.
