Toggle or Hold Functions for Modifiers

Currently it appears that the modifier button/key function varies as either a hold or toggle function depending on the module. On the A-10CII it’s a hold and on the Hornet it’s a toggle. It would be great if there was an option to set this as desired.

You already can set a modifier button as toggle or hold button in all modules

ok found it

go to:

C:\Users\Yourname\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\FA-18C_hornet

modifiers.lua

and edit "true" to "false"

local modifiers = {
    ["JOY_BTN16"] = {
        ["device"] = "CH PRO THROTTLE USB  {0D292CC0-737A-11ed-8004-444553540000}",
        ["key"] = "JOY_BTN16",
        ["switch"] = false,

It's already in the GUI. When you set a modifier you can set it as press or switch, not sure if those are the terms actually used, but it's there.

Aha. “Modifier” is a hold. “Switch” is a toggle.
