Ramstein Posted January 18, 2009 Posted January 18, 2009 (edited) IN mission names I like to put the date and whether it is single or multiplayer. example.. a mission file name: 01-19-09_MP_BS_Defend_Base.miz parts of the mission file name and what they designate: 1) Date of mission creation 2) MP = Multiplayer (no need to put single player if it is single, just don't put MP) 3) Put MP in the mission name) 4) BS (optional, if you have more than one flight sim, you can put BS to show it's a Black Shark mission, and not for some other filght sim). By naming files with these conventions, you can gleem how old the mission is and whether or not it's single or mulitplayer coop. Also, when I go to download these missions from websites and forums, most the time I can't figure out which type it is, and with al the info in the mission name, I can put it in the proper direcxtory without going through timely investigation. What do you guys think? anyone want to start doing this? :joystick: note: I also like tpo use this method of naming to the zip file if the mission file is zipped up in a zip file. example: 01-19-09_MP_BS_Defend_Base.zip Edited January 18, 2009 by Ramstein ASUS Strix Z790-H, i9-13900, WartHog HOTAS and MFG Crosswind G.Skill 64 GB Ram, 2TB SSD EVGA Nvidia RTX 2080-TI (trying to hang on for a bit longer) 55" Sony OLED TV, Oculus VR
