autostart glitch in Spitfire

Not sure what i did wrong but now, whenever I spawn in flight in the Spitfire - whether Instant Action or a mission I created - the autostart sequence begins as if I'm on the ground - wheels are down, the throttle is being manipulated by AI, etc. Makes it impossible to fly these missions. Can someone tell me how to get my Spitfire back to the way it was? Thanks.

Check under "Assist"->auto start in key binds.
Then check state of that switch on your joystick-throttle-rig-thing. Or clear/delete the assignment.
