Chibawang Posted January 20, 2009 Posted January 20, 2009 Is it possible to choose your skin within the campaign, without editing loadout in the mission editor? And if not, does the campaign ever assign a paint job other than the default camo?
nemises Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Hi mate, No, the skin is set in the mission...if you wish to change skin, then you must change it in the mission and save it. Campains are exactly the same, as they are built from individual missions...it's possible the skin will change from mission to mission, but it all depends on what the mission designer set up in the first place. You can modify the individual missions in a campain if you desire.
Chibawang Posted January 21, 2009 Author Posted January 21, 2009 Actually, I just discovered that by editing ka-50.skins you can set the default skin to whatever you want! Problem solved. Thanks though.
DivinuZ Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Hi, exactly what did you change in the the ka-50.skins file to select a different default skin? Thanks
Chibawang Posted January 22, 2009 Author Posted January 22, 2009 The first list of textures is your default skin, so you just change the names of the files to those of whichever skin you wish to use. You can use CDDS Studio or Modman to open any of the files in Ka-50\Bazzar\World\Shapes and get the filenames for the particular skin you want to use.
