450Devil Posted December 30, 2022 Posted December 30, 2022 Page 10-29 of the Ka-50 III manual states "If while in HOVER mode it is necessary to decrease altitude, you can use the VERTICAL DESCENT mode. To do so, press and hold the (ROUTE-DESCENT) switch on the collective in the DESCENT position. When this is done, the (HOVER) light and the (Ralt HOLD) lights will go off and the (DESCENT) light will turn on." All occurs as above except the the Ralt HOLD light remains on. Not a bit bug but may need attention in due course. I was using the Instant Action Caucasus Ka-50 III Take-off from Runway mission to test out the hover system when I noticed the above difference from the manual.
