Suvv Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Devs, Are the multiplayer mission editor issues being addressed in the patch? I have a mission that at mission start uses the random function to set some flags. These flags are then used to create some randomness to the mission. However, it would appear that there is an instance of mission start per player and not one single instance for all players. Therefore, each player can get a different set of flag values as they each seem to have their own set of flags. It would also be really neat to use wildcards. For example if I have an enemy group called evg with evg #1 evg#2 etc it would be really nice to be able to reference the group as evg% - if you see what mean. Or if I have player #1 and player #2 it would be neat to send a message to player% which would send a message to all players.

nemises Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Wags has indicated that the soon-to-be-released patch addresses and improves the ME. We can hope this means for MP as well as SP.
