EtherealN Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Good to hear. :) And yeah, takes a lot of time to learn how to fly this thing, especially if you like me is used to either fixed-wing sims or RL gliders. So much to unlearn... >.< [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Daniel "EtherealN" Agorander | Даниэль "эфирныйн" Агорандер Intel i7 2600K @ 4.4GHz, ASUS Sabertooth P67, 8GB Corsair Vengeance @ 1600MHz, ASUS GTX 560Ti DirectCU II 1GB, Samsung 830series 512GB SSD, Corsair AX850w, two BENQ screens and TM HOTAS Warthog DCS: A-10C Warthog FAQ | DCS: P-51D FAQ | Remember to read the Forum Rules | | | Life of a Game Tester
CyBerkut Posted January 22, 2009 Posted January 22, 2009 Let me know of your results. Also try bellow settings as someone posted that it work with this settings - Default spring = 0% - Spring gain = 38% - Other options at 100% Keep in mind, that poster *also* physically disabled the centering spring (twist ties or cable ties could be used to test the concept). If that helps you, you can carefully drill a hole through the joystick's shaft to pass a removable pin through to physically hold the centering spring mechanism up away from the base. There is a picture of that in the forums. http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=622802&postcount=20 If you are going to do that, remain mindful that there are wires inside that shaft that you do *not* want to bugger up. :) [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] There's no place like 127.0.0.1

EtherealN Posted January 23, 2009 Posted January 23, 2009 I'm pretty sure there was an activation box somewhere in the controller setups within the game. Can't check at the moment though since I'm upgrading the PC and found myself two 6pin PCI-E cables short for my graphics. :( [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Daniel "EtherealN" Agorander | Даниэль "эфирныйн" Агорандер Intel i7 2600K @ 4.4GHz, ASUS Sabertooth P67, 8GB Corsair Vengeance @ 1600MHz, ASUS GTX 560Ti DirectCU II 1GB, Samsung 830series 512GB SSD, Corsair AX850w, two BENQ screens and TM HOTAS Warthog DCS: A-10C Warthog FAQ | DCS: P-51D FAQ | Remember to read the Forum Rules | | | Life of a Game Tester

However, I just received delivery of an evo Force yesterday. I have been following threads on the evo Force, and other FFB sticks, as I was planning on attempting to go in that direction. I got the evo Force setup in Windows, with the spring tied in the compressed state via twist ties (as a temporary test). I didn't get to the point of trying it in BS yet, but that will be soon. I do recall that there is a line in one of the lua scripts about force feedback being enabled (or not). [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] There's no place like 127.0.0.1

Hello CyBerkut I think i checked that and it was in the config folder one cfg file that says FFB enabled. I will make some tests tonight and if i find somethink i will post results. For sure the force feedback is very strong with EVO Forceand i hope producers release a major fix for FFB controlers. KastaRules Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 I have the same problem: I have followed every piece of advice on this forum BUT I can't get any FFB at all on my Cyborg Evo Force. It works with other sims tho. :helpsmilie:
ZEbbEDY Posted February 22, 2009 Posted February 22, 2009 i would defo like some kind of force strength added to the control panel in a patch this stick has very strong force feedback in other games so should be able to handle this without people resorting to butchering it with cable ties
