Why does cockpit stutter but looking outside does not?

In my Hornet.  No matter what SS I set I get stutters looking to my side panels.  Thoughts?

I am using the OTT to set SS.  I have tried adjusting just about every setting I can within DCS as well.

Oculus 2 res set to 72 with default res.  CPU overclocked to 5000 RAM 3200.

Could be several things but in general, it takes more resources to render cockpit vs outside view.  Have you checked your GPU/CPU frame time how they fluctuate when you look inside or outside?  Also, what is the load on your VRAM? If it is reaching 8 GB, than it could be causing a re-load of textures and thus stutters.
