DishDoggie Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 In Vietnam some Hueys would pull NIGHTHAWK Duty they would fly with a COBRA looking for Victor, Charlie, around places that Army troops would be on the ground as one example. The Huey would be outfitted with a Mini Gun just behind the Co Pilots seat. in the Door Gunner Position would be 2 VERY LARGE Modern Electronic Detection systems operated by the door gunner in his position mounted on top of a LARGE Very Powerful 50,000 watt xenon searchlight.
