Mission 5 No Charlie signal for landing

Hi Badger633, 

thanks for the great campaign.

I have issue in mission 5 with Supercarrier Comm. After I call Stennis See you in 10, there is no Comm for signal Charlie. I flow pattern at 2000 fts, but nothing happend. Other aircrafts landing Case 3 recovery, but I was told to land in Case 1 recovery. 

Can you look at it?

Hi Kenny

Nice to hear from you, hope your keeping well. 
The operation of the carrier on returns is not within the control of the mission editor so is decided by the DCS Sim. 
I suppose the issue is as you return night is starting to fall. 
If I remember I normally get quite a dark case 1 on approach. What is the issue is it that other aircraft are case 3 and you are are 1. Or was it you did a case 1 approach but didn’t get a Charlie signal?

Thanks for quick reply. Yeah, I'm fine. I hope you are too. 

Yep, I got message to do Case 1,but other aircrafts do Case 3. I know, that this is not your issue. Maybe try a change start of the mission by - 1 or 2 hours? It could help.

Yes Tacview would be great. I will also fly through myself. See how it goes as you say maybe 1 or 2 hours earlier. However must admit the masochist in me did like the difficult light conditions it created on landing.

Will let you know how I get on.

Incidentally have made quite a few updates which have been issued and will be in next update but have been held up waiting on EDs next update.

 

EDIT: 19 Jan 23 20:13 / Checked it out . Your right. Have now changed start time to 16:10 two hours earlier. Issued to ED already so hopefully in next update.

@KENNY1988 Should be out soon. Trouble is the update also covers core Sim updates so it depends where ED is with these before they decide when a full update is issued, so we never know when.

Saw you covered mission 1 and 2.  I put them on my u tube playlist as I have done with my other campaigns you have covered. I like how accurately you fly.

I've uploaded mission 3 and 4, but not release it yet. 

I have two notes to kneeboard. First one, it would be great to have information about Bingo fuel. And second one, it would be nice to have BRC of carrier, to make correct Case 1 or 3 departure.
