Far distant buildings / trees Anti-aliasing issue

I'm on x4 MSAA and 1.5x SA, and basically buildings / trees in the far distance are constantly buzzing/fuzzing making it kind of annoying to look things in the distance, every thing closer is nice and solid. Any particular setting that could ease / remove this?.

Thanks.

Not really, its due to the way dcs utilizes the anti-aliasing. From what I’ve read up on ( I could be wrong), DCS’ method of anti-aliasing applies it to every object in the world individually, thats what msaa type does. TAA type anti aliasing ( like in the civil sim) applies it to the entire scene at once. TAA is more of a performance hit but works much better and the shimmer is much much less, if not mostly imperceivable. Later down the road this year with  dlss and hopefully the new game engine, it would be nice to see some improvements to this. As for now, it kind of is what it is. Much worse in VR than pancake.

—I’m happy to be corrected if I interpreted the AA techniques incorrectly.

Yeah, if they could get that sorted the  sim would look absolutely perfect, fingers  crossed for the future 🙂. Thanks for that!!!.
