Is high RPM normal when pulling collective?

FWIW There now is some magic in this here forum, threads get moved, titles changed etc... 

I have no idea how the thread I started got blended into this one!

What I notice is that it really only happens on the first lift off following a cold start.  If the mission requires multiple landings, reload / re-arm, lift offs (heavy use of FARPs) then the alarm does not sound on successive lift offs.  Only the first.

It is not big deal I guess, just wondering about it...
