Idk how to get put the attack fighters into a formation. Can anyone help?

Idk how to put them into a formation. Do you do the same thing as you do for carpet bombing formations?

Advanced waypoint settings. One of the options you can add, I believe preform command, then formation. Depending on the unit they will have different options and spacings. Another option is to set on unit to follow anotion and adjust the offsets. This is good in case of fighter escorts or other situations where aircraft are outside of a formed squadron.

Groups of planes fly in formation by default. You don't have to do anything, unless you want a specific formation. Can you provide more info?
