I shoot down the F-5, then follows the message to intercept helicopters over Gelendzhik (2 times) and another city (to the letter D). I fly to Gelendzhik, put the radar on low-speed target and flying low. No helicopter was detected. It is not detected in the external view, but after a while it appears in the F2 view. In the first passage it appeared over the Gelendzhik, the radar did not see it, found it only on the F2 view. I could not shoot it down - I crashed. On the next passage of the helicopter (recon 1) spawned near Pshada, but not near Gelendzhik. And to understand that I could only through the view F2. I flew to Pshada, but the helicopter recon 1 in view F2 disappeared, and instead appeared helicopter recon 3 far from that place. I decided to RTB and after flying far enough in the F2 view I saw recon 1 over the Pshada again. Land in the sochi and got the mission at 50%. Tell me how to pass this mission? Is it necessary to destroy 2 helicopters (or was it planned for 3?) over different cities? These cities are far from each other, the fuel may not be enough. And how to find them without using labels or the F2 view. I'm really want to get through this mission. Please help! UPD. I looked at Tacview. In total there are 4 helicopters, 2 of them start over Gelendzhik and fly to Pshada, another 2 are to the east. The eastern group of helicopters must have been shot down by the eastern MiG group. There are two MANPAD Stinger near Pshada. Apparently I need to detect the helicopters visually (which is difficult) and not get hit by the stingers. Well, I will try again. Solution суховей Posted February 12, 2023 Author Solution Posted February 12, 2023 (edited) Passed the mission 100%. Very hard mission. Only managed to pass using cheats - endless weapons and labels. Helicopters are very difficult to detect (labels to help) and no less difficult to shoot down (missiles go to the flares and not enough ammo). To get a hit and a voice message to shoot down a helicopter, I launched the P-60 many times, and added a gun. Also, helicopters can take a lot of hits from the gun without being shot down.
