Capt_Haddock Posted February 14, 2023 Posted February 14, 2023 I'm doing a lot of navigation with the TACAN offset. It's an awesome system, but rotating the bearing selector takes forever if it's more than just a few degrees... Is there any way to speed it up? Thanks! 1
Solution t-stoff Posted February 16, 2023 Solution Posted February 16, 2023 (edited) I almost broke my virpil knobs. Despite all the tricks the virpil setup has I couldnt do a satisfactory one that sped up the process. I ended up binding one "up" and "down" keys on a extra keypad I have. Now I press it down till I get the aprox number I want. Not quite yet but better. ak22 Posted February 16, 2023 Posted February 16, 2023 (edited) I zoom out first & look down, I use my mouse to scroll and look up so as I drag up.... Edited February 16, 2023 by ak22 1
Capt_Haddock Posted February 22, 2023 Author Posted February 22, 2023 (edited) Thanks for the tip, T-Stoff. I mapped the up and down keys to the hat switch (SHIFT + HAT UP, and SHIFT + HAT DOWN) and it works pretty well. It's much faster to get to the rough number, and then it's pretty easy to just use the mouse to fine tune it. Edited March 3, 2023 by Capt_Haddock 2
