DIVA - Database Immersive Visual Analysis

Greetings to all community, I want to demonstrate new software that was made by me and my friend Viktor as VRM development team. Software called - DIVA (Database Immersive Visual Analysis).

This software will be interesting to database programmers part of community, all other members are welcome to see not-usual 3D graphical user interface.

What we do with our software - is trying to achieve usable 3D interface for viewing database logical structures. It's brand new from the beginning. New visualization of foreign-key dependencies allowed us to create a tool that show large-scale databases in compact & interactive 3D form, and allow to view and analyze every dependency.

Warning! All innovations can be hard to understand, so please watch our videos before you try a soft, to get clear view of what's going on :)

There was also research in implementing Virtual-Reality manipulation techniques in this immersive environment. You can see more details in one of our videos (Video #3).

To create interactive 3D model of database - DIVA read database's export script (DDL / SQL). Current release of DIVA v.0.17 works great with Oracle and MsSQL DBMS, MySQL is also supported, but still can be buggy. As you can see version is early, we are plan to add a lot of other features!
