hi to all friends i have a new proplem and i dont know how... i play 1,5 mouth the game and all its ok .today i begin a multi or non multi missions and the game begin but whene i must push the pause break button or the joistic vew it do noting it doesnt work

Are you sure the keyboard if working correctly?

I've had a similar problem. I was messing around with my system, updating drivers. Ran BS and could not call up the Communications menu by pressing \. I had to reassign the key for that Action via Options,Controls - clear the field then Add. I suggest you check via Options the Action (should be Pause) that is called up by pressing the pause/break key.

2. Sometimes Windows changes Keyboard Setup, still in your correct language? (Mine tends to switch between English, German (Germany), actually correct, and German (Switzerland), formerly correct)

Not sure if this applies, but if I try to use a key that's ALSO being used by TrackIR, it doesn't get through to the game (BS, IL2, etc.).

Found this in readme1.0.txt:

"Q: The sim does not respond to keyboard commands and I cannot un-pause the sim. I’m unable to save and restore my joystick profiles.

A: If you are running NewView, this is probably the source of the problem. You need to either Alt-Tab out and back into the sim or rename the NewView folder prior to starting the sim."

In general case, you have to search the 3rd party software working with keyboard input (NewView, device mappers (for example - TIR or joystick software with assigned hot keys), for russian users Punto Switcher etc.) This software in your PC intercept (catch) some keyboard buttons and BS cant respond to it.

@ntonis, do any of the keys work? I mean go to Options, Controls then press any key, say "M". Does the display jump to highlight the Action "Master caution push-light"?

i reinstall the game and it works!!!!! think the problem it was something with a mod
