Just a NOOB-question… sometimes, during transition to a hover while landing, the Apache starts to Spin and I do not manage to recover to stable flight. What am I doing wrong, and is there a possibility to recover? THX for your help…

Whatever is going on here, there is nothing to hassle about. If someone does not want to buy the p-51, like me, he won´t buy. I for myself had rather preferred a jet of the "classic era", like the Phantom or the Mig21. One could even design combat missions in a fictive 60s scenario using the DCS-engine. But piston-driven combat simulation? We already had it all, with better graphics than DCS. The strength of DCS is the depth of modern aerial warfare simulation with in-depht modeling of avionics and weapon systems, please stick to it. I´ll wait for the next fixed wing modern aircraft.

Yeah, I thought so... the better renown breweries with good beer would be: -Paulaner München (Munich): Münchner Helles -Hacker Pschorr München: Hefeweizen or the stuff from Augustiner Brauhaus München. But the best ones are still the local, small breweries: in our region with approx. 180.000 inhabitants on 70 miles*70miles square we have more than 20 breweries...ie one brewery on 9000 people. And mountains. and beautiful cows. and snow in the winter. Fat food. Beautiful girls. and we are rather far away from the hectics of urban life. I luv it.

Normally it´s triple the speed of my grandfather in his wheelchair downhill... ;) No, seriously: it´s kind of a look and feel. 50 knots is rather fast, so if you go at a calm speed and you can steer the plane calmly, than everything is ok.

No offense, but: how often do we get close enough to see what has happened to the pixel soldiers? Even when strafing them with the gun, at a distance of .5 miles you hardly see anything. At least at the resolution level in this sim. So, before battling over gore and ragdoll physics, a more detailed damage model, more different kinds of explosions and more different smoke columns would be far mor interesting. And possibly dust trails of moving vehicles.

Hi, another reason for F-keys not working can be the TrackIR-Software, as I found out. Couldn´t use F7, till I found out that TrackIR-precision mode was toggled by F7. Changed TrackIR-keymapping, et voilá!
