I use the pedals from a FFB wheel I bought on eBay (for £2!, picked it up.)

With regard to having two axes, is there a box in the 'Wheel Properties' (in Control Panel), that says anything like 'Operate Pedals Seperately'?

My PC sees the pedals as an Y-Axis (Up/Down) and the wheel as an X-Axis (Left/Right) with the box unchecked.

left pedal moves a graph called 'z rotation', right pedal moves a cross up and down in a 'x axis, y axis' box. there is no option to make the pedals one axis. i am running vista

Sorry for the late reply, I know how frustrating this must be.

(Gf wanted BBC1 on, and my LCD Monitor messes up the signal lol)

Are you using the latest drivers and software for your product, or did you just 'plug [it in] and play'?

i tried installing the drivers from the disk but vista wont let me, they are for 98 i think and apparently they work in xp but not vista. yes so its plug and play only so far

OK, well don't worry mate. The drivers on that CD will probably be as old as the wheel.

You say it's a Microsoft Force FeedBack wheel?

Go onto the Microsoft website, find the Support section, and find your wheel.

Now find a 'Drivers' package. Make sure it's for Vista-64[bit]

Download the drivers and install according to the instructions found on the website or in a readme (in the package).

Now look for a 'Software' download. If there is one, download this and install the software (Make sure it's for Vista-64).

Then go into Game Controllers and see what it says. Fingers crossed, the interface will be different and with more options.

Just had a quick look, looks as if they stopped supporting your product at windows 98 - that driver package is 2001!

Not to worry - if you D/L that software package and try and install it what happens?

Right click and set 'Compatibility' to Windows 98. Disable 'Desktop Composition' and make sure you 'Run As An Administrator.'

Well your products aren't supported on Vista, but that doesn't mean they won't work.

I'm out of ideas really and it's getting late here, but Google for solutions. Somebody will have made software/drivers or found some way of getting it at least basically functional.

Also search these forums for posts about your joystick.

Any help post back here, but you'll have to help yourself mate. Search Search Search lol,
