Saw this in another thread...  My guess is that this would help for busy missions in vr since with most headsets (aero maybe excluded) we probably cant see out as far as we would like anyway.  Don't know if this would break the "pure scripts" rule on multiplayer or not.  Of course, once you're within the draw distance the problem comes back, but maybe there is less to draw in that case, dunno.
