Bogey Posted March 1, 2023 Posted March 1, 2023 Hello everyone I have framdrops every 5-10 seconds. After a long search, I unplugged the Saitek x52 pro joystick and the drops were gone. I have tried other usb ports but the problem persists. I would like to buy a new joystick in six months. how can i fix the problem now. thanks in advance
BitMaster Posted March 1, 2023 Posted March 1, 2023 likely a powered USB hub could help. see if your monitor has one built in, that may do the trick already. could also be far more complicated and hard to track down and resolve, so try a hub first. Bogey Posted March 2, 2023 Author Posted March 2, 2023 I have tried several usb hubs. problem still exists
BitMaster Posted March 3, 2023 Posted March 3, 2023 That's one of those not so nice USB problems. You could try a Bios update if there is one, a newer or older chipset driver for your motherboard, there should be no need to install any USB controller drivers in 10 or 11. If possible, install a 2nd copy of windows on another drive or reinstall yours to see if it's just your install causing it. What happens is mostly clear, just what causes it !
