Hey there.

 

No the newer versions are dependent  on the older modules to work

So A-10C II require the A-10C module and Blackshark 3 requires the Blackshark 2 module. They are essentially updates in terms of weapons and sensors etc to those modules.

Didn't they change this though, at least for the A-10C?

But perhaps things have changed with BS3 I remember reading somewhere that it needed BS2 similar to the A10C upgrade or maybe im mistaken.
