HexusPridox Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 Hi everyone! First post so please bear with me. Recently, my trackhat decided it didn't want to live anymore and died mid flight. So I switched over to VR (VIVE Pro Eye) which I've never had any issues with any other VR titles I have. However, things quickly started falling apart with DCS. Firstly, whilst it was loading everything in after selecting an airframe, the vision would go grey on and off for a bit before settling down and I could do stuff. However, going into a helicopter made it a lot worse and downright unplayable with both the framerate and the greying constantly happening. I did read that there was a openXR tweak, so I did it, and everything seemed fine. Tweaked graphics settings as well and then went for another flight. Quickly this became worse and worse. Not only did the greying keep happening but now it would freak out and lose the headset and HOTAS for a split second, causing SRS to freak out and for the game to randomly shut down systems (Usually after something like this the ABRIS would be switched off for some reason, even though I know it was on prior). Some points it would stablize and things would be okay, only to find out that SRS had a meltdown and crashed after losing my HOTAS system again. If I closed that it would take DCS as well, so I did and went back to trying to find a solution. So I went back into the settings to try and fix some stuff, dropped the resolution and things seemed to be better already, so I took the Ka-50 out for a test flight on the shooting range, only for it to instead of graying out, the headset would just black out for 2-3 seconds before coming back up with the same device lost message in the corner and systems offline. I've looked for a solution to the best of my ability and I can really only nail it down to 3 things. Its either the headset, the base stations or my PC isn't capable of running VR for DCS. Any help is greatly appreciated and I'll provide screenshots to all specs I have on hand. Thank you in advance! SteamVR-2023-03-07-PM_08_39_59.txt
