Severe Keyboard input delays when TrackIR is enabled (MT)

I have been experiencing input delays of up to 4 seconds on my keyboard but only when TrackIR is active. This is an intermittent problem however it has existed before the latest Open Beta patch (DCS 2.8.3.37556) and is not module specific. So far I have experienced this on the following modules:

•  AV8B
•  F-14A/B
•  YAK-52
•  AH-64D
•  F-16C
•  F/A-18C
