bpremus Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 Hello, is it possible to use built in Pico 4 hand tracking in DCS? AMD FX 8350 4.0Ghz, 16gb DDR3, MSI R9 390, MS FF2 & CH Throttle PRO, track IR 4 & Lenovo Explorer VMR
VR Flight Guy in PJ Pants Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 Well, VD does not have access to the hand-tracking code, so from what I get from the VD developer, it is not possible. I am not sure if one uses the Streaming Assistant. I Fly, Therefore I Am. One cannot go around not saying "Thank you" every time these days, can't you? Johnny Dioxin Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 Was wondering the very same - looks like some testing is in order. I've not attempted any hand tracking at all with the Pico 4 yet, but noticed the option yesterday in the UI, so I'll try and get that sorted and try everything I can (which ain't much!). Rig: Asus TUF GAMING B650-PLUS; Ryzen 7800X3D ; 64GB DDR5 5600; RTX 4080; VPC T50 CM2 HOTAS; Pimax Crystal Light I'm learning to fly - but I ain't got wings With my head in VR - it's the next best thing!
Winger Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 would be very interesting if that is somehow working
Corax Posted December 26, 2023 Posted December 26, 2023 (edited) Hi! Have some news? As i know, VD now works with OpenXR (VDXR). At pico's site saw developer guide: https://developer-global.pico-interactive.com/document/unity/hand-tracking/#f45787a1 (but only for unity?). It's look like that possible. But only if Pico not block hand tracking data to openXR. Maybe i wrong, because i'm not developer. Edited December 26, 2023 by Corax
