InclusiveDave Posted March 22, 2023 Posted March 22, 2023 Gen 1 and Gen 2 will just shut off, and leave me hanging at random times in the mission. What can I do about that. It happens a lot.
Jel Posted March 22, 2023 Posted March 22, 2023 (edited) My first guess would be a keybind inteferring with your gen switches. Can you verify ? Any bindings on your HOTAS ? If yes, which system are you using ? Edited March 22, 2023 by Jel When in doubt - climb. Nobody ever collided with air. InclusiveDave Posted March 22, 2023 Author Posted March 22, 2023 Thanks, No just the default keyboard bindings, LS + U, LS + D. This was happening on the ground a lot, yesterday I was doing an ILS landing and both Generators just stopped and all my avionics crashed with it.
InclusiveDave Posted March 22, 2023 Author Posted March 22, 2023 and they don't switch off, they die and can't be restarted. I am looking at what I am doing closely, and I will try to recreate the problem.
Jel Posted March 23, 2023 Posted March 23, 2023 (edited) You positive the generators die and not the engines ? Yes a track replay would be helpful i guess. InclusiveDave Posted April 6, 2023 Author Posted April 6, 2023 I have no way of knowing if its the generators or not. Been trying to export what is failing. That's the indicator that kicks off when whatever it is fails. One of the instructors in my squad has the same problems. Maybe I can narrow it down.

timjulius1122 Posted July 19, 2023 Posted July 19, 2023 I think you need to Check the power sources and ensure devices are charged and inspect hardware connection's for any loose cables.
