slo_mo Posted March 25, 2023 Posted March 25, 2023 More specifically the VAICOM documentation says that using more than one VA profile with VAICOM risks “corrupting” the VAICOM code. Is this “corruption” simply that a user has to manually manage cutting and pasting the VAICOM code to 2 separate VA profiles? Or is the risk of corruption something more under the hood? I ask bc I want to map different VA PPT buttons for different aircraft. I don’t want to have to go into VA and manually do it each time.

It's absolutely fine to add ordinary VoiceAttack to your VAICOM profile, but it's "cleaner" to keep the default VAICOM profile as intended. Easier for troubleshooting etc. Then you just piggyback that extra profile into the VAICOM profile. Now, to what you actually ask. This is exactly how I do it, because VAICOM can detect (obviously) which module you're using, you can use exposed variables to achieve this. I have asked the mods to pin the post below.
